Maybe the best in the series so far... I know it's a low bar! Three wicked guest mixes, plus an absolute beefy pounder from TE main man Bad Touch.

Unseen Force debuts with a top shelf blend of old school and golden age hip-hop, a perfect mix between the classic and the obscure. He played at least two of our events, and the hook up came about through resident DJ Infinite Soul.

Bad Touch goes to town with the FlyLo Shhh EP, mixing several tracks in with other beat bangers, alongside a cheeky surprise pull. Your fist will pound.

It's hard to pick a favourite from this CD, but all round MCR badman Chimpo comes up trumps with a tuff mix of all his own productions and remixes. Includes what would go on to become a TE classic in 'Children of Israel' and a magic rework of Minnie Ripperton. Chimpo was the first DJ we booked to play TE, I think mainly off the back of his killer 12"s on MRK1's Contagious Recordings label and some mixes online. A lot of the early bookings we made came from hitting up DJs we liked on myspace. That dates it!

And finally, Bee-Log steps up to the Furious Styles-shaped hole with a similarly menacing take on rinsing jungle and drum & bass

This Ish Bangs - a limited series of 50-copy CDRs given out at Thirsty Ear nights during 2007-2008. This is the first time these mixes have been online. Terrible artwork recreated in authentic style from the posters of the time!
